I recently finished my first required reading for my HYTT certification and would recommend it to anyone looking to check in with yourself and start the year out with some positive perspective. I feel like it is my theme for 2023 and I am looking forward to where this spark leads.

I have been practicing planning my meals in the morning when I eat breakfast. It helps me fuel according to my schedule and my goals for the day so that I can operate efficiently. When I don’t do this, I often fuel reactively intaking foods that do not serve my system or BODYMIND needs.
My current favorite dessert to prep right away these days has been chai seed pudding. I have been making it in morning smoothie flavors
... today I mixed blueberries, banana, lemon, vanilla protein, & water w/my serving of chai seeds for a meringue treat later .
i am thinking of creating a sort of coconut flour/flax/avocado crust for this one in the future…

THE NEW mOOn & GROUNDING
I like to take some time on every new moon to do some grounding. A checkpoint between beginning and end of a spiral.
A new moon also gives us opportunity to be present with the shadow side. This seems amplified when we ALSO get to experience a solar eclipse revealing the darkside moon.
This particular combination could invite a deep dive into the depths of whatever might be holding you back. Practicing with the moon gives you a chance to check in regularly with your flow and make adjustments to support you on your journey. Perhaps an eclipse is that reminder moment to look at our path, sort out the shadows and shine light on what we may not have seen there before. This shifts can bring about big energy so it’s natural to feel off balance.
My opportunities in witness of any eclipse have always traslated as little reminders to look around. Those ‘oh yeah, & then there is magic all around us” moments. The universe plants that seed towards transformation.
google search reveals: A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, casting the Moon's shadow on Earth. A solar eclipse can only happen during a New Moon.

…at breakfast i wash the fruit i plan to eat for the day and set out for snacking. when charcuterie time rolls around, i smash the berries onto crackers and sprinkle with 1shOt fresh herbs(BASIL) & sqeeze a lemon.
a mashed avacado can be a sweet snack if sprinkles with PEPPER &candied almond sugar and topped with 3 chocolate covered candies or fruit.

The energy we take feeds the energy we make so I have been trying to intentionally intergrade that mindset into my meal plans.
…The last few days I have had some sciatic nerve pain and headaches which is has been more unusual for me these days but happens every so often when I get in the habit of consuming a lot of gluten, sugars, & stress…all seem to instigate inflammation in MY body. This week I am actively working on removing sugars slowly from my daily fuel(slow to avoid binging tendencies) and absolutely eliminating gluten entirely for a while to help settle the inflammation I can feel collecting…and see building in my body.

January Full Moon
I am following the Celtic Lunar Cycle this year with Cocorrina’s MELITE planner. Beginning the the new year with the Birch Moon of the CELTIC TREE MONTHS was particularly symbolic for me as I have been thinking of the snow covered birch trees of home a lot lately …and by the shadow moth’s moon, pirate season will be in full swing so these seeds are being planted now. I feel like in this phase it is feeling especially important to tend to some root work while setting intentions for what is ahead in order to thrive in growth towards that potential.

Season of The Witch…
Season of Witches…
Witches night out was my favorite vibe. Many wonderful witches there were and wandering into fall with many new simple treasures and moon charged crystals from the MountainMoonMagic collections was a treat.
Newly conjured wire wrapped beauties and season inspired surprises made their debut. I think perhaps my favorite treasure that made it to market this time were the spOOky spiders…had to sneak these gems into the offering.

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does
